Log temperature underwater !
The HANDYLOG DK501-PL is a one-channel temperature datalogger for underwater applications. The logger is encapsulated in a plastic housing for the most rugged water and sea-water applications. The HandyLog offers a high resolution and accuracy at a low purchase price.
The logger has an internal memory for up to 1 million readings with a resolution of up to 16 bit!
It is powered by a user-interchangeable lithium battery and has a low power consumption which allows logging for long periods.
This means that for example at an interval of 15 seconds the battery lasts for minimum 70 days continuous operation. At an interval of one minute you are safe to work for 250 days and at 10-minute interval even 4 years of unattended operation are possible.
And even if the battery fails - the readings remain safe inside the logger due to the nonvolatile flash memory!
Where have HANDYLOGGERs been used ?
Driesen+Kern GmbH has been manufacturing small dataloggers for zoological, oceanografic and industrial applications for more than 15 years. HANDYLOGGERS have been used for oceanografic research, meteorologic applications, in food storage and transport applications, comfort studies in cars, monitoring in hospitals, clean rooms and more.
